Expo 2010, Shanghai China “Better City,Better Life”
I am very happy for the fact that i was able to visit China during the Expo 2010.And After seeing about 25 Pavilion in my 6 days visit to Expo i am very much interested in sharing my thoughts, photos and view regarding each country`s presentation at Expo.China`s efforts are totally visible in setting up such a huge event and i really appreciate their efforts for this.
I would like to start with the management of china for the Expo.First of all Shanghai has awesome infrastructure, and they even developed many flyovers only for Expo which was very convenient way for traveling to Expo. And if that was not enough they also had special taxi`s for Expo which made it even more helpful to visit even if you don`t know a thing about Chinese language ,there was this support number where you can call if the driver doesn`t understand the place where you wanna go.Great isn`t it?
Now Language?ya we all know that Chinese is very difficult and its hurdle if you are visiting China. But not for Expo there whole lot of volunteers who spoke little~to very good English giving you all the information you need. So,that was even great.Though people seem to be little rude and all pushy in queues but i guess that`s human nature, the queues were never ending from 1 hours wait to 9 hours wait for pavilions but some pavilion were worth waiting for it.
Facilities like toilets, restrooms ,water facility were there at very convenient distances and of course lot of food stalls were available, but hold on if you are vegetarian,it would be little difficult for you if you are veggie. :(.Cleanliness was a little issue but, that was only in queues area.
So,Overall i felt the Chinese people have given a Great show and event and have make all they can from the opportunity they have got.Would be shortly starting with individual pavilions as soon as i get time.
